The International Maternal Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC) 2026 was held March 23–26, 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya. IMNHC 2026 brought together leaders, practitioners, advocates, and community members from across the field to explore timely issues, innovative approaches, and meaningful solutions.

The panel  presented recent developments on maternal infections and sepsis research, including new research priorities and landmark results of the APT-Sepsis trial, and updates on WHO recommendations for prevention of maternal and neonatal sepsis in labour.
