It outlines an innovative, solution-driven, and strategic approach towards building and ensuring the health and well-being of current and future generations of pregnant women and their offspring in the face of epidemic threats. Grounded in a vision of the world where every woman receives the highest standard of care during and after pregnancy in the most challenging of times, the Roadmap advocates for advancement in research, closure of knowledge gaps, and enhanced cross-sectoral collaboration among relevant stakeholders in the context of epidemic and pandemic prevention and response, this document is intended to champion the health and well-being of pregnant women and their offspring.

The MNH-EPI-COS Toolkit is a comprehensive set of practical resource for standardized collection, management, and analysis of maternal and neonatal health data during epidemic threats. It was developed to support the integration of the COS across diverse contexts, enabling timely and accurate recording and reporting of core outcomes
This is a mapping of research protocols used during past disease outbreaks to collect data on maternal and perinatal health and well-being, and published between 2000 and October 2023.
